Canoe up the Pitt River July 24,2011

We had been hoping to get out on the canoe a little more than we actually did but this day was perfect. Our neighbour recommended this paddle. We to a preview of where we would launch the canoe when we peddled our way over on our bikes one day.

Well the sun was shining and the water was calm a perfect day to be out on the water. Poor Bronwynne got left behind for this trip. Sam was anxious to get out on the water and learn how to paddle. We did managed to paddle for a while until the hunger gods told us to pull over for a picnic lunch. We admired other boaters paddling by and watch the clouds drift over the blue sky. I even managed to grab a few shots as Sam was paddling.
