10 Years ago on this day March 28

Ten years ago today I married the love of my life, by best friend and companion. We have been together eighteen years. There have been many memories made and I know that the years to come will add to the list.
Of these things I am grateful. I have been blessed to live in Delta, BC, Yellowknife,NWT, Bedford & Lwr.Sackville NS, Airdrie,AB and finally Langley, BC. Every move has brought adventure, laughter and new friends(and a few tears). We have had a few homes, two dogs, and one fantastic kid! Like all couples there are highs and lows but with every turn I know he will be there with a smile and comforting words. For all this and more that I cherish every moment we have together.

A visit with Friends! March 16-21,2008

Our last week has been filled with friends and fun. Our house was filled with love, laughter and a few tears! The Dawood family blessed us with a wonderful visit. During their last visit to our home baby Georgia had not arrived. Sam loved everymoment of the visit it was to cute to hear"s" and "Where is Nora?". We spent time just hanging around, going to the beach, to the recreation center for a swim at the pool and walking to various parks.In addition to the visit we had a chance to help celebrate Nora's 3rd Birthday. They were even kind enough to stay a few extra days so Georges could help Darren replace boards and build back some of our deck. Now that is a true friend!

Going to work with Daddy March 2008

Sam & I had a chance to tag along with Darren for a work day. Darren's day started and ended in Comox so instead of flying over and sitting around for a day he suggested we pack up and drive over and spend a couple of days. So we packed up the car and hopped on a ferry and drove up to Comox. We all got settled in at the hotel and had a decent nights sleep. Then next day we sent Darren off to work with three lovely flight attendants. Sam & I headed out for a stroll around town, okay so I was stolling and Sam was sleeping. We found an assortment of wonderful shops and restaurants. Darren arrived back late that nigh and the next day we went our for a lovely brunch at the Union Street Grill and had a lovely drive back to the ferry.

Celebrating Maya's arrival! February 29,2008

A beautiful baby shower was held in honor of Maya's arrival. Leiko & Orson's recent addition to their lovely family. Michelle was kind enough to open her home to all of us. A wide selection of tasty and delicious food was served from seven layer dip, homemade corn bread, a beautiful bean salad and much, much more. And of coarse an assortment of lovely pink clothes and goodies were received!
