Sam & Nora Meet September 19,2006

Well after many months Sam & Nora meet. Nora is the daughter of our good friends Georges & Shanna. She was born March 05'. Shanna was in town with Nora so we met for an afternoon, it was a delight to finally meet Nora who is such a good mix of her mom & dad that you couldn't order anything better. It is too bad we live so far apart because I know Sam & Nora could get into trouble together. 

Swimming lessons with Sam September 20,2006

Well after months of putting swimming lessons on hold we finally started today. It was a perfect day as Darren was home and able to come and be a part of Sam's big day at the pool. The only unfortunate part was Sam normally naps around that time so he was a bit cranky at the end. Can't wait to go back next week.

Newest Family Member Sophie Jarvis September 14,2006

Here is Sophie Jarvis, born September 13,2006. All 9 lbs 7 oz. Sam & I had a chance to go down to the hospital and meet her today. She is just beautiful. Congrats Dave & Pauline.

Well you can't go to the hospital and not take a picture of Sam he won't remember it if you don't!

On the move September 11,2006

Went to visit Grandma & Papa and check out the newly carpeted covered patio and while we were having our visit Sam crawled about two steps. So we are officially on the move at our house. 

Leaves and more Leaves September 11,2006

Well on such a somber day we have a ray of light. Sam & I were waiting for Darren this afternoon so we hung out on the lawn for a short while. If one leaf fell half a dozen more followed I think Sam thought it was all to please him.
In a separate notation Sam went for his nine month check up all seems to be well he is in the 95th and 90th percentiles. He is doing all that he should be for his age bracket so we are pleased but, hey we didn't need anyone to tell us that! He is happy and that makes us happy!

 

September 8,2006

Here are just a few of the apples from the one tree that we have in the yard. Let's put it this way we are eating apples with every meal.
This is one big green pepper growing on the smallest plant in the vegetable garden.
And finally this is how I found Sam after his afternoon nap!

9 Months Old Today September 4,2006

Sam is 9 months old today. He went to Planet Java for breakfast, tried some egg sat up in a big boy high chair. Whew! And that was just the morning.

The Saucy Bunch September 1,2006

Today was a sticky, sticky, sticky day. Did I mentioned it was sticky. Not only was the weather beautiful but, we made in total 75 cups of Apple Sauce! Mom & Dad came over and helped pick, peel, slice, stir, and jar what seems like an abundance of apple sauce. We started around noon and went till about eight last night. There are three types ,just plain apple sauce, then blueberry apple sauce and cranberry apple sauce. And belive it or not there are still tons of apples on the the tree, glad we only have one tree!
