Part II

The Dawood's Visit May 2007

We have been blessed to have our good friends come and visit with us. We all met out in Halifax together and have been friends since. Their little girl is about a year older than Sam but they carry on like their is not difference it it such a delight to see us all together after such a time away from each other. With out any more babbling there will be a series of pictures because I can not possibly place them all in one blog posting.

Dinner with the Jacob's May 4,2007

Friday night we actually made it out to the Jacob's. We brought some homemade pizza for us all to chow down on. It was nice to see the whole family and have an evening of laughter and stories.

In addition there was a hold up during dinner and Nicholas got right in to cowboy mode.

After dinner there was a flood in the bathroom with not help to Nicholas and Sam. The picture only captures half the water leaving the tub. And of coarse I am no help I just keep laughing and snapping pictures. I think you actually see Michelle's hands trying to slow the boys down.

Auntie Karen's Birthday April 28,2007

Auntie Karen turned thirty something. Or in Sarah's eyes she is something like 22. We helped her celebrate as Mom cooked her a wonderful dinner.

We were able to help celebrate Brandon's birthday with cake and coffee on Wednesday night. Brandon was fortunate to recieve a new bike and accessories. He looked like he had an enjoyable evening with family.

Easter Weekend with JAM April 2007

This post is a bit tardy. We(Sam & I) were blessed to have our friends Jacob, Anna, Maya and Cindy come and spend Easter weekend with us. I don't really know who had more fun Sam, the kids or Bronwynne. I still think Sam and Bronwynne are wondering where the party went. We really enjoyed are short but sweet visit and can not wait for them to all come again.

Rub a Dub Dub April 3,2007

It is always great when Darren is home. Not only do I have companionship but another set of hands. It is much easier to reach for the camera when I know Darren is watching him. Anyway here are few shots of bathtime. Bronwynne is always there at bathtime not only to check out all the toys floating around but to get a drink of water, it makes Sam laugh everytime.

Fresh air at last... March 29,2007

Well finally we have had a break from the rain(yes, I know it is what keeps everything lush and green here). I took Sam out all the driveway with his tricycle and roadster. He was having a blast. He has not figured out the pedals on the trike but is close.

Walk at Cresent Beach area March 20,2007

Since spring break has started we managed to have a day out with the Olafson's. We headed down towards Cresent beach,Blackie Spit. There is an area just for off leash dogs. So Bronwynne came too. It was a lovely day slightlly cool and windy but not wet!

Tigh-na-mara March 14-17,2007

Sam & I had the wonderful opportunity to go away with Michelle and her boys to Parksville. They had origanally planned a family get away but her other half came down with the flu. So to our benefit we were able to go with. Wednesday morning we dropped Darren off for work and headed to their house to get all packed up. We were like a little train each in our vehicles. We took the ferry over to Duke point and proceeded on the island highway. I can honestly tell you it was a beautiful site driving up into the resort. For the next few days we enjoyed the facility, the beach and all the surrounding. Including a jaunt to Qualicum for lunch. A wonderful time was had by all. And a strong recommendation if you have the chance to go yourselves.

March Madness March 13,2007

I don't know about your families. But at ours we have March madness. There are a multitude of birthdays so we usually try to have one night together. This year that didn't work out so well as we were missing Dale & Cameron. We did managed to have the other birthday people there. It was a good little get together. Here are a few of the pictures. In addition to the birthday we have three anniversaries.

Long time no post March 13,2007

Well, I am so sorry I haven't been around. With all of us so sick it just wiped us out. But I am back! I actually attended a card making class with my friend Jill. It was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to doing a little more of it. Here are a couple of the cards that we made.

Sick Sam February 28,2007

Well we have a bunch of sickies over here. While Darren was away I mananged to get a small cold with a fever. I figured I would muster through until he returned. Well the next morning I am sending Darren out to get a few basics(milk, bread). I am getting Sam ready to go with and with a flip of a switch my happy go lucky guy is crying and burning up with a fever. I know I sound like a real first time Mom(but I am ). So that just changed a few plans around instead of the rest I thought I was going to get. I proceed to get him back undressed. Make a call to a parental for some real advice call the doctor, half a day and a real cranky Sam later. He has a ear infection and will survive but will we?... Enough said so what does this Mom do when her kid is ill well reach for the camera. I have to say in my defence. It is now rare for Sam to stay still and Dad was home to comfort him which makes the moment even sweeter.

Well off to get better before Darren comes down with it!
