A little of this N that! April 26,2007

Last night I had the opportunity to go to a card making class held by Sandi Lindsay a Stampin Up Rep. I have attend a few of her classes over the last year and they have always been fun and informative. We did a session called Tart N Tangy which not only included the beautiful cards and box that we made but we all left with the stamp set to boot! There was a nice group of women which also included my friends Jill & Kim. Poor Kim had worked all day got stuck in traffic and ate an apple for dinner, but still made the best of it! So below you will see a sampling of the cards and box that we made.

And since Darren was at work, my sister was kind enough to take Sam for the evening. Now he originally was just going to stay while I was at the card class but Mr. Impossible actually fell asleep so he was invited to have his first sleep over! Yay! I did ask if I could send him over next week for potty training. I am still waiting on an answer on that! LOL!

When I dropped Sam off and had a quick but lovely dinner with them. Karen & Sarah were kind enough to present me with a belated anniversary gift. A little history here, every year Karen has been kind enough to share a well thought out gift with us. They have always coincided with the traditional gift associated with the year. Well just let me say that this year was TIN much to my dismay! How can 10 years get you tin! So you will find a picture of the very much appreciated gift!

Maui 2008

So we had a chance to get away and celebrate our ten years of marriage. It was a fabulous trip we had a terrific time. Grandma & Grandpa J also join us for the trip. I can say that there was a lot of laughter and fun! We managed to get a few tourist items in and a bit of relaxing well as much relaxing as you do with someone pretending to be a digger on the beach! The weather was a warm the entire time we were there.There was a few showers but it didn't hinder us in any way. I can't pick out a particular part that was a favorite because the entire trip was delightful. Sam did wonderfully on both the flights. He could however, do better in the night time sleeping department(when away from home) we will have to work on that!

I have to say that I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked but you will find a few entries of coarse!

Brandon's 11th Birthday Celebrations April 4,2008

Last night were invited over to help celebrate Brandon's upcoming birthday. Tasty pizza and fresh salad followed by a delicious homemade ice cream cake were served. Brandon had asked for an acoustic guitar, so Grandma & Grandpa with honors handed down Great Grandpa's guitar(all shined up and and with new strings) ready to go! Brandon was truely excited and looking forward to honing his new skill.
